I have over 25 years of experience. I enjoy working with teens, adults, and families using a warm, relational, and practical approach that offers tools for everyday life.
My practice is grounded in the belief that hope and healing are at the heart of transformation. I focus on strengthening relationships, reducing conflict, and helping clients build confidence, resilience, and emotional well-being.
I am an ally and welcome those in the LGBTQ community.
I have a bachelor's degree from Texas Christian University and a master's degree in social work from the University of Texas in Arlington. Currently, I am currently pursuing a doctorate in education at Southern Methodist University. I am certified by the state of Texas as a classroom teacher with certifications in special education and school counseling. I am also a trained practitioner for Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®).
As a mom of four—two by birth and two by adoption—I have experienced many of the ages and stages of parenting. I have two dogs and love the outdoors. My family and I enjoy visiting national parks to camp and hike. I am also a breast cancer survivor and have navigated a major health scare.
I look forward to connecting with you!
